Company Overview

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1980, Mr. N K Venkitaraman practiced the profession for two years. He then was associated with International Computers Ltd. (UK), where he had an exposure to System Design and Programming. When the company got itself listed in the National Stock Exchange, he headed the team that handled the public issue of shares. With this experience gained in the software industry, handing of public issue and large volume data processing, Mr. Venkitaraman with a team of qualified and committed professionals started the company in 1984.

The company began by providing technically-oriented services, catering especially to the needs of the Indian Capital Market. The initial area of specialization was 'Post Issue Management Services'. This entailed large volume data processing of share aplication forms for public limited companies that raised funds from the markets.

K R has acted as 'Registrar to Issues' to over 90 Indian Companies. As a Share Transfer Agent handling the portfolios of about half a million accounts on an on-going basis, K R has handled entire share department functions, from its premises.

After verifying its credentials, infrastructure facilities and capabilities, the Securities and Exchange Board of India issued K R a certificate classifying it as a 'Category 1' Registrar.

From the year 2000, K R shifted the core business to providing Business Process Outsourcing   (BPO)  services. K R has developed a reputation in the service industry for understanding customers' needs and developing common-sense solutions using the most innovative technology. With a proven track record in the field, K R enjoys a trust reflected in the fact that most of its business comes from referred clients.
